INB: What inspired you to create Jessica’s twin sister, Joellyn, and her unusual appearance.

Gary: I wanted more Jessica in the book. I also wanted a romantic partner for Eddie. The idea of somebody who looks like Jessica but is only six inches tall was too good to resist.
